Faalgedrag bij Additive Manufacturing

Op deze bijeenkomst wordt aandacht besteed aan het gedrag van door additive manufacturing geproduceerde producten.
In de presentaties komen de relaties tussen faalgedrag en procesparameters bij additive manufacturing aan de orde. Verder is er aandacht voor geschillen in breukgedrag tussen gegoten producten en producten gemaakt door additive manufacturing.

Overview of the research facilities, activities and results at NLR with respect to additively manufactured engineering alloys. For some AM process and materials the relationship between mechanical properties, fatigue life, microstructure and printing defects are elaborated.

Title: Failure mechanisms of Laser Powder Bed Fusion Aluminium components
Abstract
Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) processed Al alloys are known for having specific mechanical behaviours in comparison to cast alloys. In this presentation, we will focus on the damage and failure mechanisms of three L-PBF Al alloys (AlSi10Mg, Scalmalloy®, and a modified 7075 alloy). Some thermo-mechanical post-processing routes will also be discussed in order to enhance their mechanical behaviour, especially the fatigue performances.
